Edit:
If everyone Asian guy looked like this, then there wouldn't be a need for heaven.
I can't formulate a good post for this. My mind is still too jumboed with thoughts of:
That lucky bitch. She got to go on stage and then DaeSung hugged her. He hugged her and after that TaeYang serenaded her followed by DaeSung doing his adroable dance which was accompanied by his fantastic vocals. She even got G-Dragon to dance - would it be "on" or "over" her? Whatever, the point is she got all this fan treatmeant and T.O.P. to hug her twice.
I would've killed to be that girl. Killed. Not because I would've died to have G-Dragon doing his thing or that T.O.P. would hug me twice (actually he proboably wouldn't have hugged me twice since I wouldn't ask him to.) It's certainly not TaeYang singing "You're So Beautiful" or Seungri...singing whatever the hell he was singing. It would most certainly be because DaeSung would've hugged me and then sang that lovely Korean song...which I don't understand. But the point is --- they understand English, so why should I worry about speaking Korean?
God --- I would've killed and traded my soul for her luck that day. Whatever, I'm going to go to their concert in Korea --- wish me luck on my SATs and I'll be able to go. Imma, work hella hard to get what I need to so I can fucking see them live. (Going to miss them on May 5th because of SATs. Stupid subject testing...D:)
Anyways...pictures! [For all you ignorant people who don't know who these people are. btw. G-Dragon is hella tight, don't make fun of his name.]
Bleh --- no group picture because I don't feel like resizing shit right now. I just want to spaz about DaeSung. xDD And yes, I edited the picture because it was looking drabby with all its faded appearance. Plus it looks cooler with butterflies floating around anyways. xDDD See? Isn't he lovely? xDD He likes Doraemon too. xDDD

| Before time begins I would like to present to you, as the judge, a brief road map of where I'll be going during this speech. First, I'll give you a round overview, then I'll move onto the DA, the kritik, then I'll move back onto solvency and finally I'll go onto the counter-plan. I'll also do an impact calculus at the bottom. Is everyone read? Okay then...
In this round you're going to end up voting for the negative on 3 key issues. First, you're going to look to our K which says that honesty is key to solving for a sustainable lifestyle. That their discourse in this round is harmful to maintaining successful relations between individuals, but more importantly their discourse is internally damaging to the victims. In essence, our entire K criticizes how they have set expectations and standards for everyone and this locks the victims into this never-ending cycle that destroys individualism and becomes complacent with stereotypes. Extend our ****** '07 cards that talk about how this cycle leads to massive spirit murder. Finally, extend our alternative which states that the only way to eliminate the problem is through understanding and discusion. We would also like you to extend the alternative that says we need to reject the affirmative and every instance of harmful discourse.
Secondly, we're also winning on the DA which says that their plan is going to lead us into a mass genocide. This impact outweighs any possible policy impact they can bring up in this round because genocide is the step before global nuclear war and we cannot solve for nuclear war without first, eliminating genocidal actions. Extend our link card which goes virtually unchallenged in this round and the impact cards which is also dropped in the 2AC. Essentially they have granted us this DA.
Finally, even if you don't believe in any of our previous arguments you are going to vote for the negative because the affirmative plan simply accomplishes nothing. Extend our ***** '07 and ******* '06 and ****** '05 cards which turns thier advantages. Without any advantages on the plan there is absolutely no reason to pass it, esepcially since the passage of the plan will lead to a series of negative impacts. You'll also extend our ***** '01 card which says that their is no way to solve for the issue or even reduce it in size. They lose solvency in this round and if they cannot solve, then they cannot win. You will default to negative.
Now we'll procceed onto the DA. Once again, they don't really answer any of our arguments on how the passage of their plan will lead to a meassive genocide. During the 1AR they conceded our argument that genocide is the step before nuclear war. In other words, they have accepted the fact that our impact happens in a faster time-frame. Cross-apply my analysis in the overview to their impact out-weigh arguments. It doesn't matter if they outweigh because once genocide happens there will already be massive death and nuclear war will become a secondary issue. We also have to acknowledge the fact that if we prevent genocide then nuclear war can be avoided. Extend the ***** '05 card which holds the warrant to that analysis. Once again, you'll extend the link cards on our DA because they haven't talked about this at all in either of their speeches. They've conceeded that the DA links 100%. Don't let them come up in the 2AR and say how they answered our arguments. You can check your flows and realize this issue has been cold-conceeded throughout the entire round.
Second, on the K. They try to perm our alternative, but that is a severance perm and extend our severance perm bad arguments on how they are a moving target and they can severe out of our DAs. It also skews negative strategy if they can shift out of their advocacy. Don't let them win on a illegit perm. They try to perm our understanding alternative as well, but that's a straight up contradiction on their part. Their entire plan revovles around the idea that they will place great expectations and play pretend more often with individuals invovled. Our ***** '01 card explicity says that you can't do that. You have to be honest and place less constrictive standards for the individuals. This turns case. Cross-apply the analysis made in the overview about how they only perpetuate the problem and worsen it. Extend the ****** '07 which makes this claim. Once again, extend our alts.
On solvency, just cross-apply all of our arguments in the overview to their case. They don't answer any of these cards so just extend them across your flow. Don't let them come up in the 2AR and talk about how these arguments aren't valid because this is the negative's last speech. We can't predict what they will and won't say.
Finally on the counter plan. We win on this issue as well because we don't link to either the K or the DA. We're advocacting a complete severance from the perpertrators instead of offering them another chance to correct their mistakes. You should prefer our advocacy over their's because we're granted 100% solvency. We also capture all of their advantages which avoiding the K and the DA. complete severance from the "bad guys" will allow for the victims to restart and have a fresh slate to look at. It'll also allow them to find a sense of who they are, whereas the aff plan only allows them to live in the molds of the perpretrators. Once again, their perm doesn't make sense. If they perm this then they'll be severancing out of their original advocacy. Cross-apply the analysis made in our K flow which talks about how severance is bad.
The fastest and easiest way to get out of this round is to vote for the negative because we offer the best policy in this round which is our counter-plan. The CP solves for every instance of the DA and is the first step to eliminating the issues brought up in the K. Even if they make the claim that we link, somewhat, to the K we don't link as hard as they do. Instead, we act as a form that embraces its ideaology and in no way do we actually link. If they make that argument you can dismiss that as our counterplan calls for COMPLETE SEVERANCE and not partial.
Vote negative as we clearly outweigh on every issue.
The judge ended up voting affirmative because complete severance is impossible and the kritik was stupid. It's always to pretend to be happy and okay than to show you're actually hurt and losing your grip with reality. It's always better to show false strength than to show real weakness. It looks like we, as the negative, still can't win this debate because it is one that the judge can never come to terms with. We pity her. We really do.

| The Surgeons
Water poured endlessly from the hooked metal pipe that stuck out at an odd angle over a recently clean white basin that was flecked with droplets of water. The cool, transparent liquid washed and bathed the pair of hands in a cleansing ritualistic method. After the seconds had drawn on, the pair of hands were pulled out from under the metal hook and the water no longer ran as freely as the seconds before. It had become trapped within the metal tubes once more.
The individual walked purposefully and confidently into the joint room, taking great care not to rub their recently cleaned hands against any surface in fear of getting them dirtied again. There was a low buzz in the room and as the honored guest had finally arrived, the chatter died away and the masses clothed in plastic sheets moved back into position, ready to meet any given commands. The individual walked smartly up to the metal bed and within seconds was already barking commands at the other stationed individuals.
What was once a cool, relaxed atmosphere was quickly replaced with heavy tension and the familiar presence of Death looming in the far corner, laughing at the human's desperate attempts at preserving what little they could. The essence of the forboding force watched as the plastic wearing individuals mechanically handed the head person all their needs and as the lead individuals work frantically on the failing project.
It would only be a matter of seconds before this was all over and everyone knew that. They didn't need the omnipotent words of Death to announce the news, but they still trudge onwards and continued to fight this hopeless battle. No longer amused by the antics, Death stood up and began to walk towards the humans, ready to call an end to this madness, but was deterred by the determination of the plastic-wearing individuals. They had formed a barricade around Death and refused to let him bypass their human wall.
Deeply furious with the new course of action, Death pushed them aside and continued in the direction of the leaders, already ready to take what was rightfully his.
"It's over, give up."
Those cool, emtpy words had slapped the leaders into their senses and as they examined the project they saw the mess it had become. The sheets were flecked with red riverlet stains and their hands drenched in the same bold color. Its vinuous properties had landed themsleves onto their usually immaculate coats as well, staining them with some horrible mistake of the past. They looked to each other for some form of reality check, but none came and when they returned their sights on the project, they realized that it had been over a long time ago.
Death stood quietly off to the side and in his hands was a finely carved oak box that was held shut by a golden clasp, locked and sealed with some ancient form of magic. With a nod and an exchange of goodbye, he was out the door and back into his own lair. The leaders glanced back down at their coats before deciding that they could always get it cleaned or just throw it all away.
But it wasn't always easy to clean past mistakes and almost never possible to simply "throw them away." Afterall, mistakes are not like coats and cannot be discarded because we want them to be.
I'm somewhat tired from all the bullshit I keep getting from everyone and I've decided that instead of letting things hold me down I'll simply cut the ties altogether. After all, all surgeons are masters at making nice, clean cuts and then temporarily sealing them in hopes of it healing in the future. So I'll cut, suture and hope that they'll heal.

| We look out the dust stained windows with a searching intent. We push the dust aside in hopes of getting a better view, but when we have cleaned the entire pane of glass we come to realize that we still can't see beyond the edge of the forest. Our eyes cannot penetrate through those thickly stacked woods nor can they seen past the shadow curtains that hang ever so gracefully on the branches of trees. Despite the fact that we cannot view beyond the edge of the forest we continue to strain out eyes in hope of catching a glimpse of something - anything.
Days past by, nights sleep on and still we see nothing, but at our next meeting we greet each other with friendly smiles, exchange pretty words and gifts before moving on to the main attraction. We're caught laughing politely into our hands and nodding at all the right times. We continue to smile and her eyes have learned to shine in a way that caused our beings to glow with life. And then it is time to share how our lonesome years have been and what we're able to see through our glass windows.
Silence stretched before us for a mere second before the host stands up and announces that there have been reports of some monster hiding within those woods and as if on cue the lord of the Northern District jump in with words of agreement and how he had, on occasions, spotted said creature. The Southren lords nod in agreement while a Western lord muses about how he had come across several carcasses splayed on the floor. There were gasps of terror and nods of agreement on how other's had experience the same thing.
At the end of the party the lords part with their smiles and thanks before being carried into the knight by their royal guards. Each returns with a small smile knowing that there had been no demonic rumors, no discovery of bodies, but each will keep to the lie until the truth can be found.
But nobody wants the truth so each lord will keep to the stories as best they could until it is all over because just over the horizon there is a knight with a sword mighty enough to cut through the darkness and perhaps bring in a new form of justice. But the lords are crafty and they will get to him before he can deliver, they will make him one of their own.
Life is good. Life is sweet.
I hate all the busy work we have to do in English. What a pain in the ass.
